LCPS Sub shortage

I know tomrorow will be a snow day There’s probably at least 300 vacancies (subs) they need filled tomorrow alone.

Maybe you could try branching out and subbing at the ones that do have postings? It would help us a lot.

I work at the 4 ES's closest to me. That's as far as I can go because I have to be able to get home quickly at dismissal to my own children. But our schools (Eastern Loudoun, Cascades area) have a deep bench of great subs, mostly current and former parents, so they are largely insulated from sub issues. The other schools in Loudoun should culitvate the SAHM population more - that's what works where I live.

People always mention SAHM but often overlook realtors. Winter is their slow season and quite a few of them are former teachers. I’ve had many in my class
