Tout de Sweet and Praline top my list. Both are good at everything they do.
Sunday Morning Bakehouse (Pike & Rose) has excellent brioche donuts. Cafe Bohemia does good croissants. Haven’t experimented much with either — just buy the thing I came for. Tatte is also worth checking out. Delicious apricot danishes, nice little teacakes, house-favorite Bûche this year. Savories have been less impressive. Nice space but that’s less of a selling point during COVID/in the winter. I think Fresh Baguette is acceptable but not a treat. |
| Oops, it’s La Bohemia (on Wilkins Ct) |
I agree with all of this but do love FB lemon tartlets. |

| I thought Fresh Baguette was mediocre at best. Their pastries were better than the things like croissants and Kougin Amman, which were like grocery store quality. |
| Fresh Baguette’s bread is great, its pastries are I think a notch below tout de sweet. |
