Lottery.

Is law school, medical school, graduate school also test optional?

Eventually we will have to evolve to some knowledge based IB system. The standardized tests to not test for knowledge and grade point fluctuates too much from school district to school district and even schools within districts.

I think going to a non-graded system would be fantastic.

You think that college in its present form will actually exist for our grandchildren?

What’s the point of standardized testing when you can spend money on prep courses and increase your scores? There is no correlation between test scores and doing well at college. The only correlation with test scores is how much money your parent have.

I think they should go with the IQ test type that measure fundamental intelligence kind of like admission to AAP

They will dangle scholarships in front of low-income students and there will be humiliating hoops to jump through re "leadership" and "community giving". The rest will just have to show their credit cards. 100K per year. Those with stellar academics will be put at the back of the line, obviously.

What's the point of GPA when you spend money and hire tutors and increase your grade. Is there a correlation between GPA and doing well at college?

Do you know how out-of-reach $750 is for most students? What bubble do you live in?

If you want to college, you'll be able to go to college. Some disciplines that require hands-on experience will have entrance tests. Others, where you can lecture 500 students at once, will be open access.

Oh just stop.

Grades matter most than any other factor, so they will be around for a while.
