| Been gone 10 hours now overnight |
| Yes if they run into hungry coyotes |
|
No. Worry about them being hit by cars! Coyotes have plenty to eat around here, and won't go after bigger prey.
I hope they came home safe and sound. Are they microchipped? |
Where are you? Generally, coyotes eat smaller animals so probably won't go after your dogs. Remember, they don't want to get injured! Hope you find your dogs. |
| Call Animal Control, they've probably been picked up. |
| Not home, or found. Yes chipped , detailed collars etc |
| Do you think last not got too cold for them ? One has good coat the other a little shorter |
| Night |
No. Dogs are pretty good at keeping themselves warm, and we're not in blizzard conditions. I'd worry they're in a ditch somewhere I assume you've driven around? Called the local vet hospitals?
|
| I live out West (not in DC), and coyotes will go after larger dogs here. I've even known people who were walking their dogs on leash and they were attacked by coyotes. But DC has fewer coyotes and they have more access to food than here, so hopefully your pups will be okay. |
| How are you doing, OP? Have you found your dogs yet? Thinking of you. |
| Thank you. Searched woods , friends helped, contacted all relevant places /agencies. They aren’t home it’s now been 24 hours. I’m incredibly sad. Thank you for your kindness. |
There is still hope! Your doggies are in my thoughts! |
| Dog people are the best! Thanks - it home yet but trying to keep some hope |
