Chinese food! But I'm pre-gaming with pita chips right now.

We’ll do that tomorrow . Tenderloin roast, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots. Chocolate cake for dessert. Not too complicated, but should be tasty.

Prime rib, Brussels sprouts with bacon, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, buche noel. It’s my last hurrah bc I got my cholesterol back and it’s 266!

Shrimp steamed, charcuterie, clams in wine and garlic sauce, assorted canapés, sliced Serrano ham, manchego cheese, these little Hawaiian rolls filled with olives and cream cheese and oily anchovies, deep fried cuttlefish, croquettes, sliced pork tenderloins. That is the appetizer part of the meal. Main is stuffed fish. dessert is turron, chocolates, polborones and mantecados and almonds and raisins and little glasses of port wine. Somebody brought a cheese cake, too.

Any guesses where I am eating Christmas dinner?

I’m having potato chips for lunch.

Oh, yes. We had donuts and coffee for breakfast and a cheese plate for lunch. I also polished off a ginger cookie and some m&ms this afternoon.

Dinner tonight - clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, and garlic butter scallops over linguine. We don’t have anything for dessert because I figured we would eat Christmas cookies but now I’m wishing we did.

Breakfast was oatmeal with peanut butter powder and banana, plus tea.

Dinner will be bean and carrot soup with bread and a small glass of wine.

But in between I had a tamale, a pupusa, chips and salsa, platanos and crema, and horchata. Plus apple juice and a cookie but that was after giving blood so it's medicinal

All I've eaten all day is Christmas cookies - made 5 different kinds, and have been baking/eating all day. Lasagna in the oven for dinner, eating late (it's a carb filled long weekend in this household).

It is a good thing Christmas only comes once a year....
