| I’m using frozen cranberries to make cranberry dressing for the holiday. I have only ever used fresh, but I could only find frozen at the store. I assume these will cook down the same as fresh but anything I need to know? I use a super standard recipe of cranberries, sugar, water or OJ, and orange zest. TIA! |

I've used frozen cranberries when I grabbed a bag early in the season and threw them in my own freezer for a week or two. Same recipe, no changes. Just keep an eye on it, if you are cooking directly from frozen it'll take more time to gel.
Just check the ingredient list on the package to see if there is added sugar... If there is, hold off on adding yours until you can taste it |
