Hey Jeff, there's a great long thread in the College forum that details where DCUM kids have gotten admitted. It's really diverse in terms of the colleges referenced and unusually positive/supportive. Generally speaking I've found DCUM at least as useful (maybe more useful!) for my kid's college search as any of the focused websites like College Confidential etc, and this is a post that would have given me a better sense of the breadth of opportunities for kids from the DC area when we first started thinking about colleges. What's so nice about it is that everyone is cheering everyone else's kids' successes - exactly what we all should be doing but often fall short.

You might consider pinning it up at the top of the forum for the future since it will eventually get buried beneath lots of individual questions etc.

I'm glad the forum is beneficial for you. Sometimes that forum seems really crazy. I am trying to avoid pinned threads at this time. I want to only pin announcements and posts about forum guidelines since I find posters generally just skip all the pinned posts.
