Whitman Crew Wants You!
Whitman Crew is one of the most successful, competitive sports at Whitman. If you are a freshman or a current Whitman student interested in a new sport, we are looking for athletes of all backgrounds. No prior experience is necessary.
Our success in the spring is built during the winter. The winter training program runs after school Monday - Friday for the next twelve weeks. We train with ergometers at Glen Echo Park and once or twice a week at a gym in Bethesda.

Whitman Crew essentially operated in the Fall too. It's just under different auspices.

Read the Washington Post article. Board seemed more obsessed with getting their kids into top colleges.
