Is that something you are supposed to be proud of... that you don't know another single Chinese American? I guess in MAGA crowd it is.

But, yea, if you work in the tech world, you would know at least one Chinese American.

Don’t forget that he was searching for “women” and “dolphins.” And maybe “sex” too but I don’t remember that word being highlighted.

Dude, I am spending the rest of the summer with my parents in West Virginia. This is 100% Trump country and there are typically Trump flags everywhere. Nothing this year. I’m pretty shocked.

They don't want to look stupid.
It's fun to back a winning team.
If they make it to the polls on Election dsy (a big "if" because why go if your team isn't going to win) they'll probably vote Trump but some won't bother.

Calling them weird is actually a pretty effective psychological strategy to sway voters. Kudos to the DNC. Seems so simple but wow, quite effective if it makes voters doubt themselves. Like calling someone creepy, unsettling, out of touch, or just saying “there’s something not right.” I’d even call the strategy brilliant.

He is weird, Vance couldn't come up with ONE thing that makes him smile.....
That IS weird

Most people are weird though especially on dcum and in this area. Like attracts like.

Dude I'm not a dude. Minority female right leaning supporter here. I've seen plenty of trump support including a kid in a red Trump hat in Fairfax county and a pickup truck with big Trump flags in Fairfax county as well

Dudette, Trump isn’t counting on Fairfax county. He’s counting on people from rural areas like where I am right now being fired up for him.

And they are not. I am more shocked than you are, I am from here. I’m sorry if that upsets you.

Hehehe that’s a lie, no I’m not. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Ahh the lib lmao faces again. Who said I'm upset? Weirdo

Put it this way… if you really don’t like your sister’s or best friends’ new boyfriend and wish they dump them, when you’re asked what you think of the new guy, just say he’s a little weird, then add, but that’s just me. You do whatever you want. 😂

The difference is that Democrats often take joy in non-conformity. They can embrace the weirdness with a sense of humor about themselves. Republicans are more likely to be conformist, joyless scolds. Their weirdness simply isn't very fun.

I had to look that up:

Journalist: "What makes you smile? What makes you happy?"

JD Vance: "I smile at a lot of things, including bogus questions from the media." Then he laughed in a condescending way and said "right now, I am angry"

I’m just considering the strategy is all. It’s manipulation of the public. Create a situation where voters have to consider if they are a weirdo, too, by voting for Trump.

Judging from the posts here the democrats appear to have no joy but hostility to anything weird. They're even starting threads about anything they think weird. Haven't seen that from the right.
