What are your favorites? I can handle a little chopping and opening a can but not much else.

Spinach, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds

Kale massaged with olive oil, dressed with rice vinegar and salt and nutritional yeast

Pick a leaf you like, add a dried fruit and nut or seed

Open a can of mandarin oranges and add to leaves

Pp here - If you want to give it some more thought, look up food pairings so see which flavors work together best

This is one book but I’m sure there are others and/or blogs that can point you in the right direction

I also take flavor combos from restaurant salads I’ve enjoyed - like watermelon, arugula and feta. Though I’ve never made that and it may be beyond simple.

I can chick peas
1 can corn
Diced tomato and/ or cucumber
Lemon juice

Iceberg, high end blue cheese crumbles, ranch.

Whatever plus canned chicken. Yes, canned chicken. It's next to tuna at store and it's surprisingly decent. Better than lots of places cooked chicken unfortunately

Romaine, cucumber, poached or roasted chicken cut up, sunflower seeds, lentils, shredded carrot, and a little french fried onion rings.

Arugula
Dried cranberries
Shaved Parmesan
Lemon balsamic dressing

This time of year I like greens with pear or apple, Gorgonzola and walnuts

I aim for one leaf (kale, spinach, lettuce); one fruit (raspberries, apples, cranberries, strawberries); one nut/seed (almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds); one cheese (parmesan, feta); and dressing. Ideally I don’t need to do any prep work at all, except for slicing the fruit if needed. Otherwise, it is all open the container/package, add in a bowl, and dress.

Variation on this theme

Arugula, grated parmesan, lemon juice, olive oil

Chopped Romaine hearts, shredded rotisserie chicken, French dressing. You’d think I was serving Happy Meals the way my kids gobble it up.

Greens
Dried fruit
Stinky cheese (blue or goat)
Something crunchy (croutons or toasted nuts)
Maybe some grape tomatoes

I like balsamic vinaigrette and I embrace my basicness. (or am I cheugy?)

Arugula. Strawberries. Small mozarella balls. Walnuts. A little bit balsamic on the sweeter side. Easy peasy. Delicious.

Roasted squash or sweet potato wedges with tahini sauce and za'atar.
