Please
Put your phone down. Leave your hamburger, donut or coffee in the trunk. Slow down when you approach an intersection, even if there’s no stop sign. Hit the brake, not the people crossing. Share the road, not your craziness. |
| I am with you except for who puts their hamburger donut or coffee in the TRUNK??WTF? Maybe you need to go find your coffee in the trunk and have some. |
|
A young woman driving a white jeep Cherokee nearly killed my family last night. She was speeding around the Rio garage over by la madeleine. Easily going 50mph and whipped around a blind curve while we were crossing.
Slow the F down! |

We should enforce our traffic laws. Not whine when cameras actually catch us BREAKING THE LAW.
People in this area are so damn impatient. As if the few minutes they save by cutting in and out of traffic will make some big difference. Because THEY are busy and important. It is entitlement, road style. |
| I agree. Reckless/AGGRESSIVE driving and high speeds are more common IMO. Ugh, I hate it. |
Enjoy them before or after driving. Put them in the trunk so you don’t get tempted during your trip. |
| When approaching an intersection, SLOW DOWN, look to your right, your left, front, diagonal and stop for pedestrians, bikers or other drivers. Being cautious saves lifes. |
I meant Lives |
This . I'm sure PP was using hyperbole but if you are distracted by anything, put it in the trunk. If you can't resist the ping of your phone PUT IT IN THE TRUNK. Chatty passengers? Right in the trunk. |
| Drivers in this area appear to be insane …. You can’t indicate to change lanes on the beltway or people speed up to cut you off and have been rear ended by tail gaters multiple times … I can’t think of any cities in developed countries with more aggressive drivers … not meaning to leave out folks in Cairo/ Delhi/ San Paolo etc. but trying to make reasonable comparisons … maybe I’m wrong but even when driving in heavy traffic in LA, I found the drivers more chill …. |
I agree. I don't think the MoCo police enforce traffic laws anymore. They are too busy running silly , unwarranted 911 calls. |
| I hesitate being the first person out of a green light because I've almost been taken out by someone running a stale red. My mom was actually t boned in that situation. She was okay but her car apparently spu around 3 times before she could get it to stop. |
Not unless their is a light or stop sign. Good way to get rear ended. |
I actually wait 5 seconds and make sure everyone stops. |
I do too and will teach my children to do the same. I'm terrified my 13 year old will be driving in a few years. |
