Multiple cases reported at our N Arlington elementary school today. Anyone else seeing the same? It’s nearly a third of what has been reported to date this year. |
Which school? |
We had 2 students and one staff at Innovation. I'm assuming this is the catch up day for all of the positives reported since Tuesday. |
Thats a bummer especially since many kids are due for shot #2 this week. |
We all got covid one week after my kids got their first shots. I feel like every kid I know is getting it.. |
OP must be talking about Nottingham - 3 cases. It's open info on the dashboard, not sure why the secrecy in the post. Innovation has 2, ATS 2, Hoff B 1 and Carlin Springs 1. This is hardly an outbreak or "every kid". |
3 whole cases is a third of the total for the entire school year? Wow. Time to panic! |
Particularly when 2 are siblings. |
If there's a "post-thanksgiving" wave you'd expect it in a few days. Kids out today would be too early for that.
|
OP here. This was a bit alarmist. Just want my kids to get their 2nd shots and to avoid another quarantine. Have plans to travel and see cousins they haven’t seen in 2-3 years at the holidays. Have to stop waiting for the ball to drop. |
If you have travel plans, you will be as much of a source of covid as other families, so don't complain about it. Even vaccinated, your kids can still get covid. |
I think Jamestown has 9 cases. |
The good news is these cases were caught before the kids went back to school. |
It’s just testing from travel. Same thing will happen after Christmas. Frankly, I’m surprised it’s not more. |
False news. An interesting note in all of this is that very few adults/teacher/staff tested positive, and the majority of student cases are those who are not fully vaccinated (in elementary school). |
