DD and I are going to bake 12 different cookie recipes between December 1st and Christmas. We already have my grandma’s gingerbread recipe but are looking for some inspiration. What is your favorite Christmas cookie/recipe?

My family always makes anginetti cookies for Christmas. It’s an Italian cookie and delicious. Kids especially love them. Lots of recipes online.

1970s Betty Crocker Candy Cane Cookies (with the almond extract)

7 layer (Magic) bars. So easy to make. So delicious to eat.

I don't have the specific recipe, but we made a version of peppermint patties in a silicone mold (snowmen).

Also, Gourmet magazine used to have a cookie edition every so often.

I love:

- pecan meltaways with powdered sugar
- peanut butter cookies with the chocolate kisses in the middle
- linzer cookies with jam or thumbprint cookies with jam
- orange cranberry cookies (King Arthur flour recipe)

My favorites are chocolate drop and sugar cookies. My kids love snickerdoodles.

Divinity. It is that nougat stuff that has candied fruit or nuts in it. Tricky to make but so good
