| DD and I are going to bake 12 different cookie recipes between December 1st and Christmas. We already have my grandma’s gingerbread recipe but are looking for some inspiration. What is your favorite Christmas cookie/recipe? |
| Various Old Fashion Refrigerator/ Icebox cookies: date/nut, shortbread, Santa's Whishers etc. |
| Spritz cookies |
|
Almond Roca (not a cookie, but works well on a cookie plate)
Cranberry Noels |
| My family always makes anginetti cookies for Christmas. It’s an Italian cookie and delicious. Kids especially love them. Lots of recipes online. |
| 1970s Betty Crocker Candy Cane Cookies (with the almond extract) |
| 7 layer (Magic) bars. So easy to make. So delicious to eat. |
|
I don't have the specific recipe, but we made a version of peppermint patties in a silicone mold (snowmen).
Also, Gourmet magazine used to have a cookie edition every so often. https://www.chowhound.com/post/gourmet-magazine-favorite-cookies-recipes-1940-2008-796359 |

I love:

| My favorites are chocolate drop and sugar cookies. My kids love snickerdoodles. |
Curious..what is a Santa’s whisper? |
| Divinity. It is that nougat stuff that has candied fruit or nuts in it. Tricky to make but so good |
Sorry, should say Santa's Whiskers - has cherries, pecans and coconut |
| Yum! OP here. So many good ideas we’ve never heard of. These all sound delicious. |
