What’s going on? Supply chain issues? Short staffed? For prepaid this really isn’t right

What's the issue?

3-4 hour waits for pickup of prepaid pre ordered food and they are running out. People who had gone deliveries scheduled haven’t gotten pickups. It’s a madhouse

This happened to me pre-COVID somewhere else. What a pain.

We picked up our raw turkey yesterday morning. Thankfully that was uneventful.

That's insane. What's the point of pickup if you're waiting for FOUR HOURS?! Wtf...

Ugh, I wonder if the operation is getting a bit frazzled and overwhelmed. Tough year - tons of staffing and supply chain issues. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1017328.page

Damn, that sucks and it’s just poor planning on their part. Or greediness. They should’ve cut off orders once they were at capacity.

Its probably a staffing issue. Those jobs don't pay well. Other jobs are paying much higher.

If it wasn’t a last minute shortage, they shouldn’t have taken so many orders.

Wegmans was fine. I got precooked thanksgiving meal for 6 and all was perfect. If it's a supply issue then it's very unique to Balducci's and probably due to idiocy

If you buy a precooked turkey from any grocery store it’s probably been frozen. I’m not sure they could safely or Officially Safely thaw them just in time to sell them and then send them home for Thursday.

Oh no, those poor employees. They are going to get so much unpleasantness.
