OP here. Waiting to hear back from my alma mater. Hoping that no word is good news. Or DC is completely out of the running.
And just to repeat what so many of my age have said: the whole application process was so much more straightforward 30 years ago! |

Getting an interview isn’t based on merit. (I have alum interviewed). It’s based on the availability of interviewers. I know it is stressful, but don’t assign this any meaning. |

| DD had a Harvard interview today with some big-law partner who lives in Potomac. She's very unlikely to get into Harvard, but it was good practice for job interviews in the future. |
