My 2.5 year old hasn't napped in three days. Transition to toddler bed hasn't helped matters, but he started climbing out so we didn't know what else to do.
Is this it? Are naps over? |
| I am right there with you. We moved bedtime earlier 45 minutes since she wasn't napping, now she's DEFINITELY not napping lol. |
I should add DD is also 2.5 |
|
DD1- few days before 3rd birthday
DD2- 21 months
DS3- 2.5 DS4- still napping at almost 3 As long as they don't fall asleep in the car to the point we cant do anything after 4 I actually kinda prefer no naps. Easier logistics and they go to bed earier. |
| Oldest napped until almost 5. But she loves sleep and still gets up at 6 am. Youngest is 2 and 2 months. Naps going strong. She will take me to crib post lunch on weekends. |
| DD dropped all naps around 20 months. The only saving grace (probably unrelated) is that she potty trained shortly after, os it gave me hope that eventually life would get easier. |
| We dropped the nap for both kids at about 3.5 If given the opportunity they would nap at that age, but then they'd be wide awake until 10 pm even if the "nap" was only 10 minutes in the car which was not helpful. |
| Mine stopped at 2y 3 months ššš |
I'm down to a 30-45 minute nap at 20 months.
|
| 2.5 year old is still napping here. No idea how long this will last, hoping 3.5 (probably wishful thinking). |
| Around 3-3.5 |
| 2.5 for both my kids. |
| Some kids drop naps at your DCās age but I think the change to the bed is the culprit. It may take some time for the newness of the bed and freedom it brings to wear off and the naps to resume (or not). I have friends who swear by the crib tents to keep climbers down though ... |
| 3.5 |
| 2.75 for each |
