How often do you order food in or eat out?
I assumed most people cook their own food and I think I'm wrong. Brother in law visited us this weekend (with grown sons) and I asked them their favorite meal their mom made and they said she only makes tacos and sloppy joes. She doesn't know how to make anything else. BIL said they eat out several times a week. I think others do this too from what I hear but we eat out about once a month. We never order in. I think we pick up a pizza about once every 10 years. Do most ppl know how to cook? Not have enough time? Just dont' want to cook? |
| Maybe once a week, sometimes twice. I don’t like cooking particularly but I do it because it’s healthier and cheaper. |
| I get coffee every day if that counts as "eating out." I also get a sub once a week that I split over two days for dinner. Now, that it's only me at home, meal planning (and life in general) is much easier. If I change my mind about wanting something, I don't have to consult with anyone, and the cost is generally nominal. |
| You get a pizza once every ten years?? Wow. We get pizza every two weeks, sometimes every Friday night. |
|
Once or twice a week we do takeout
Pizza once in 10 years is extreme on the other side. |
| Did you also ask what their favorite meal is that DAD makes? |
| Eat out every weekend and order in once during the week. |
|
Every Wednesday because we can't make dinner that night and it's our groceries day: rotisserie chicken or quiche from Whole Foods. Also premade pizza crust for a pizza. Once a month: Japanese or Chinese take-out. |
Oh we get it when we GO out, we just typically don't order it in. |
yes, they said he once made sloppy joes better than their mom and she refused to eat them. Different recipe. |
Are you OP? |
Why didn’t you ask about the favorite meal their dad made? |
| I’m the cook because no one else will do it. I cook during the week but not on the weekends because I want a break from it. So my kids and husband order out all weekend except breakfast. |
yes. |
OP here - as I said above, I did. |
