I just finished Empire of Pain which was informative and interesting but depressing. Still glad I read it.

Just finished The Butterfly House, by Karine Engberg. It's a murder mystery set in Copenhagen. It's translated from Danish. I loved it... highly recommend for any fans of thrillers and mysteries. I look forward to reading more by this author.

OP said old or new. She was asking the best of what posters read in 2021, not books published in 2021.
