He has no chance of winning, and he can lose and still keep his council seat. The cynic in me thinks someone from Bowsers inner circle is encouraging White to run so he will ciphon off a few votes from Robert White, thus splitting the anti-Bowser vote and she once again, cruises to another term. Robert White is an actual contender and she knows it, as does her inner circle of male advisors. Its actually a pretty good re-election strategy.

It's deeply cynical, but Bowser is a pretty good political game player. It pains me to admit this, but Bowser is the "moderate" in this election. Which means I think she will cruise to re-election.

He is not up for reelection this cycle, not is R White. It is a bit problematic that half the members of council can basically run for mayor without risking losing their seats because they are in an off year and the other half can't.

She got Brandon Todd elected and that guy was a potted plant.

I'm sure her lawyers can figure out how to file T. White's paperwork and drive over to Ward 8 to get his signature on the paper. He owes her his ass after his anti-Semitic debacle. She could've publicly called for his resignation, but she didn't
