Team Fees for ECNL Boys Teams

Good Morning. Would you share what your team fees are for your ECNL Boys team? Also, can you provide the age group? Thanks. Me first. U15 and it's $700/player.

what do you mean team fees? Like cost to play ECNL.

it was at least $7500 last year and the travel was less extensive than this year/

No so the fees are broken down into two parts that you pay the club...club fees and team fees. Club fees include like training, fields, etc. Team fees include hotel and travel for the coaches, entry fees into tournaments, things that are specific to the team. None of these fees include your personal travel expenses. It should be obvious, when you registered, didn't you get an email from your club saying....they cost is $X for club fees. Recently, I guess now that the club has identified and projected the tournaments the team will enter through the year, we just got notified of our team fees that we pay directly to the club.

Old ECNL club in the Midwest was ONE fee plus a separate kit fee. No team fee, no tourney costs added, etc. Price in 2017-2018 up there was $3400 which was higher than usual because it included rental fees for Nov. through March in a full size field dome for games/practices. u15 at the time...

Club in NOVA now is $3200 and we pay an additional per-tourney fee based on the number of players attending the tourney. It's simply the tourney registration cost divided by the number of players attending. The coach's stay, etc. is included in our club fee. We did 6 tourneys/showcases last year.

No worries - $700 team fee doesn't sound horrible if that's your tourney portion plus coach travel - IF your club fee isn't crazy like ours (over $3k). Especially if you're doing a good number of tourneys.

Ours was $1900 (2 payments of $950) and includes all but the kit and travel expenses. So no separate payment for tournaments, coach travel, training, fields, etc.

I think the travel expenses includes coach travel.

No, I mean our family's gas/hotel/food to travel. The coaches travel is in the $1,900
