Gift ideas for single mom?

Anonymous
I have a friend who's husband recently relocated for a new job. However, that left my friend at home with a two year old and dog. She works full time and last we spoke I could tell she was under heavy stress. I want to send her a care package, something she'll be able to use considering her busy schedule. Any thoughts? Thank you. PS: She is not in this area so I cannot help her. She's several states away.

House cleaning? Gift card/subscription to something she can do with the 2yo. She probably doesn’t want more “stuff”

Babysitting, meal prep.

A lot of local caterers have options for casseroles and prepped food that can be stored in the fridge for a week. Perhaps you could do a “stock your fridge/freezer” gift especially if you have friends you could split the cost with. Give her a week off cooking!

I can't hire a random baby-sitter from several states away and she already has one. I thought about meal prep service, but unsure if she likes those. She prefers to cook at home due to controlling food. Thanks for the suggestions!

I prefer not to send strangers into her home. Again, I'm several states away. Don't trust hiring strangers to enter her house. Also, she's not poor. She has money. I'm looking to send her stuff she may not have time to get herself or doesn't think about since she's working and dealing with a toddler and dog (who has cancer). Thanks for the feedback!

Dogs with cancer don't have to be a thing. They are dogs. Give your love, say your goodbyes, and let them go.

Flowers with her favorite wine and cheese. Is she into candles, books and desert tray of her favorite goodies. Something from edible arrangements.

Restaurant gift card. She can use for takeout.

Something for aromatherapy (candles, bath bombs, lotions, etc.) and perhaps some flowers. She can enjoy all in the comfort of her home.

Liposuction.

Chocolate cures all. And, she’s not single. She and her husband have decided to live this way.
