We have a friend who is a professional who will go travel and pay a hefty price to attend. What is the appeal? How would you describe the fan culture? |

I've hung out with them! Though I hate jam band music and I'm not really into tripping. Also hygiene is important to me. So, I don't really fit their typical fan model but I briefly dated a guy in a different band that sometimes played with Phish.
Anyway, they definitely have a following. I don't really get it either but all those fans become pretty well acquainted with eachother and there is an air of familiarity for such a large crowd. |
