He’s a loser whose only client is his sister and a good friend of Carter Page and other Trump sketchies. Who would believe a word he says?

uhh because Bezos is the richest man in the world and afforded top notch security that failed him and he just plain and simple cheated on his wife and got caught like any other random joe.

DP. Exactly. He got busted cheating complete with dick pics, just like your average dumbass.

Very good summary.

Right? Best commentary I’ve seen on the subject pretty much anywhere.

I loved that piece. True confession, I read it twice.

Spoiler alert: her brother sold her texts. It wasn’t a government conspiracy.

+1. And Jeff is very much in denial. They're still sleeping with each other. She thinks you're so hot after all the pro football and basketball players she has slept with! Haha! Gullible nerd.

Behind the paywall.

But I bet the bimbo was in on it too. How else would her brother get all her texts? They are all having a good laugh at JB’s expense.

I thought you were referring to Jeff Bezos as Pecker because of the pics he texted not David Pecker, National Enquirer CEO. Ha!

Someone is going to jail. If no one goes to jail, it means she was in on the scheme.

What a mess. This will be case study in security practices for years.

This is what I keep wondering - she had to give her brother the texts somehow for some reason and I can’t think of a good one...

The brother confesses now the Enquirer squealed that he was their source. Would be surprised if Sanchez and Bezos stay together. Because it's very hard to think of a good reason why Sanchez would have given her brother the texts in the first place unless she was trying to help her own career/relationship prospects by having the news leak to break up the Bezos marriage.

Michael Sanchez, the brother of Jeff Bezos’ lover, confirmed that he made a “deal with the devil” and helped the National Enquirer break the sensational story on Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s extramarital affair.

But Michael insisted to Page Six he did it to benevolently protect Lauren — and the world’s richest man — by ensuring the news of their romance broke only after their mutual spouses were told.

But now it’s unclear whether the couple at the center of the scandal is even together anymore.

They have remained apart while Bezos’ security chief Gavin de Becker has conducted an investigation into the mole who leaked Bezos’ racy texts and below-the-belt selfies. A clandestine meeting in Manhattan between Bezos and Lauren that we reported on last month has been strongly denied by his camp.

A source told us the two “haven’t seen each other since the story broke. A lot of this has to do with their decision to lay low and spend time with their kids, who didn’t get a warning about the Enquirer story and now have to deal with the intense public interest and the paparazzi in pursuit.”

The source added, “Michael isn’t doing her and Jeff any favors by keeping his sister’s name in the press. He may genuinely believe he is defending Lauren, but in many ways he is actually doing more to … doom her relationship with Jeff.”

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that the Enquirer’s parent company, AMI, paid Michael, a Hollywood manager, $200,000 for racy texts between the couple. Sanchez sniffed that he would not “dignify” rumors from anonymous sources.

Wonder if the brother is confessing so that investigators will stop digging around the Enquirer's relationship with Saudi Arabia.

The relationship between the siblings appears to be ruptured.

In the weeks following the National Enquirer's expose, Michael Sanchez contacted The Washington Post, the newspaper Bezos owns, to act as an 'off the record point of contact' for information about his sister.

'For obvious reasons, I can’t go into detail on email and all of my communications must be completely Confidential.

'I’m reaching out to you, off-the-record. I will be your single point-of-contact for anything Lauren-related. I’d appreciate it if we can keep open (one) line of communication,' he said in an email in January, 'days after' the Enquirer published its explosive piece.

As the weeks went by, details emerged that he was one of the people being questioned by Bezos' private security lead, Gavin De Becker, to identify the source of the leak.

De Becker has not named him explicitly as the source but he is the only person he has named as a subject of his investigation.

Multiple sources at AMI told The Daily Beast that it was Michael Sanchez who gave them the story and they have also claimed he acted as a leak for other clients.

On Tuesday night, The Washington Post published its communication with Michael Sanchez and revealed the fact that he and Lauren were no longer speaking.

It also published, for the first time, details of his 2010 bankruptcy filing and the fact that Lauren, a former TV host turned pilot, had loaned him $165,000.

After the story went live, Michael Sanchez hit out angrily at its tone and said in an email to The Post: 'It’s pretty simple: Jeff Bezos had an extramarital affair, lied about it in his tone-deaf "divorce" tweet and has engaged in a scorched-earth campaign to cover up responsibility for the demise of two families and the failure to protect the privacy and technology of the man practically owns the cloud, culminating in a Washington Post hit piece written by Sarah Ellison, the writer I handpicked to tell the whole truth.'

According to the Post, Michael Sanchez has sold other clients' stories in the past. Among them is Scottie Nell Hughes.
