Kushner, Manafort and Don Jr. met with a Russian lawyer with Kremlin ties during the campaign

It keeps getting weirder. Sorry, I don't remember where was the thread about the GOP seeking the emails, but the 81 year old who went fishing for them didn't die of natural causes, he died of suicide.

His insurance policy pays out even for suicide?

"Nope, I didn't know. My son doesn't tell me anything."

"“My father and I are very close,” Eric Trump says. “I talk to him a lot. We’re pretty inseparable.”" I'm guessing this goes for all the Trump kids.

he's such an idiot. If we let him talk long enough, he'll spill the beans.

I think some life insurance policies do pay out after a suicide, but they won't pay out for suicide right after you buy the policy.

It's as if he has a compulsion to make sure we all know that he *did* know because he knows so much and is friends with all the people. Can't help the thought that people think he didn't know happenings on his own campaign.

He's going to go on Lester Holt and say "Back in June 2016 when I heard about the meeting with Jr and the Russian lawyer, I said to myself anyone would take this meeting!"

DP not sure. Transcript from the recent off air press briefing? Or maybe a transcript of something that was said on AF1 on way to France or at a press event while in France?

While flying to France, Trump talked for more than an hour with reporters on Air Force One. The reporters were told the conversations was off the record. Today, Trump questioned the reporters about why they didn't report what he said. They reminded him that it was off the record. He asked if they had heard him say that it was on the record. None of the reporters did. Then Huckabee said that she would release a transcript that would be on the record. However, some reporters have decided to report things that weren't on the transcript.

As usual, the Trump White House is amateur hour.

This is fishy.

Today's lesson in Government 101 for the Administration. You can't seriously blame Attorney General Loretta Lynch for giving the Russian attorney who contacted Junior a pass on her visa. See, visas are issued by the State Department, not the Justice Department. Here's your homework: The Cabinet Department that enforces Customs and Border? IS ALSO NOT THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. It's Homeland Security.

Everyone is linked to the Pissgate scandal. Please.

Now, if the lawyer was allowed into the country for a particular reason, and she worked outside of that authorization, does that make DJT Jr's "I love it" okay somehow? No, it doesn't.

It is okay legally, he broke no laws.

Furthermore it's a crime to let someone in without a visa. The....not long afterwards she meets with Bill on the tarmac to talk about golf and stuff?

Not likely.

That will be determined.

But it was a scummy, anti-American thing to do. Anyone of decency would say "I love this country more than I hate my opponent" when offered dirt on the opponent dug up by another nation that is trying to influence an election, especially one like Russia.

The Trumps have no decency, no moral compass. You cannot deny that in light of this story.

Cmon you know any Dem candidate would have JUMPED at the opportunity for dirt. They are all corrupt. It's hard to get too worked up about this.

No, I don't know that. The Gore campaign called the FBI when someone sent them Bush's debate book. As they should have. As any campaign professional knows should be done.

That's the problem- there was nothing "professional" about the Trump team. Easier to feign ignorance later on.

Exactly. Trump and team= low class amateurs

What will Jim think of this development?

Her visa was denied. DOJ granted her a "parole letter" based on extraordinary circumstances. The Hill (certainly not right wing) reported it.
