Mass deportations( whatever that means and however it is implemented) will create severe labor shortages across multiple industries that typically rely on unskilled labor. This will in turn force companies to compete for workers in ways they don't want and or, aren't used to. Inevitably you'll end up with much higher prices than what we have now.
Even with a national abortion ban, the days of white women having six or seven kids are long gone and will not come back. So, if you voted for Trump because your ignorance and cowardice had you blaming dems instead of corporate greed, then get ready, it's only getting started. This progressive will watch with glee as companies go under for failing to attract or not being able to sustain the inevitably high starting wages that workers will command because of market forces created by your mass deportations.

Contrary to popular belief, Obama was big on mass deportation.

False. His administration focused heavily on people who had run,ins with law enforcement and left the rest alone.

still, it was good that proper deportation of criminals was done. Things need to be in order and not open borders.

Virginia is nearly all red

I told you guys three weeks ago

Same thing happens every single election. Follow the state election website. There’s not really a path for a Trump win.

It is a struggle to get by on $40,000 per year.

Yes and grocery budgets make up a much larger percent of income for those making 40k instead of 250k

A lot of people are voting anti-progressive. And it is costing Democrats. This should not be a close election.

+1 All that you said.

Also men competing against women in sports.

STFU, bigot.

DP. Are you the one who called Trump-voting women stupid? Take your own advice.

That's a bit much.

Different poster but it’s not. Half the country voted for a pig garbage who spouts hate. It’s disgusting.

DP. The only "pig garbage spouting hate" that I see are the Democrats on this thread. As usual.

So Trump doesn’t spew hate? Is that what you’re saying?

If she were a man, what would your excuse be?

The issue is not that she is losing the race in places because of the economy, or whatever weird perception is that the US is being “overrun” from people living in the countryside in rural wherever. It’s that is the same state, her same party candidate for another race gets more votes (eg, Kaine in VA). One would think that if it’s all about party and policy, the numbers would line up better. So why are her numbers significantly smaller than Tim Kaine’s? Even adding Jill Stein back in doesn’t make it add up.

Racism, jealousy and misogyny.Be careful, that misogyny doesn't exclusively come from men.

It is. But Trump will make it even worse. He DOES NOT have solutions for making your rent or groceries or healthcare cheaper and in fact will drive inflation and costs and the debt UP.

Trump is already making accusations of cheating in Pennsylvania because it’s a close race. Zero verifications or evidence that there is cheating but that’s not needed for half the country. So predictable.

Not true. The data speaks for itself.

I’m a republican who voted independent this election. People here are so in their own heads they can’t fathom someone disagrees with them. I pay $100 for 3 bags of groceries. That’s what people care about. What will it take for people in this area to realize that other people don’t give a crap about some of these other issues. They can’t afford food.

I care about that too, so I voted for Harris. I don't want taxes on food, which will lead to...more expensive groceries.

Saddens me to see this but I’m not surprised

I could be one of them. Not impressed with Kamala and a lot of games are going on in Middle East that Biden wasn't able to handle.

There is bigotry and misogyny for sure, but the loathing for Trump voters from dems is pretty off putting.

Sick people.

They feel seen with Trump. That tells you all you need to know about them.
