Do Atheists believe in the bad angels or demons?

Anonymous
Since where there are good angels there are also bad ones meaning demons so would an atheist have any issue summoning one as a dare?
Anonymous
Atheist here. No angels whatsoever. Good or bad. No summoning anything. Even on a dare. And shouldn’t you be in bed?

Why not on a dare? What would your issue be with that?

Time for bed, kiddo.

No answer to the question I see. Very immature of you!

I don’t have an issue with that.

DP here. It's not a sincere question, because if it was you'd already know the answer. It is a troll, and a very, very weak one, which I gather was PP's point.

Question in return: do you know what an atheist is?

I don’t understand the question. Why would they?

NP

Would you summon on a dare the invisible gardener who tends my lawn, but only in ways that can't actually need pointed to in any verifiable way? Of course, I blame all the plant failure and successes on him, but other people say that it's just a matter of whether I forget to feed or water them. But I believe in him! I've never actually seen him. Would you summon him for me on a dare?

Oh, and also, there is a prevailing belief in him by a lot of other people, even though none of us have seen him. You can even list your job for not believing in him, although that is technically not allowed. Isn't that crazy? Still, all the presidents of the country have processed a faith that usually includes him (or guys like him), though I know you know he's not real. But it's a cool dare!

Oh, and you could lose friendships over trying to summon him, if you have friends who believe he exist. Even though you know he doesn't. But hey, would you do this meaningless thing that nonetheless is really important to a lot of other people, just for a dare?

How could that be a helluva stupid Easter off time, amiright?

*lose your job

And *waste of time

(I guess I don't care enough to be careful about typing it out )

Question: do you genuinely believe you can summon a demon? Like what, draw a baphomet and have one appear?

If so you might want to lay off whatever substances you've been taking.
Or you've been watching too much Supernatural .

Summoning a demon is a thing that people across cultures and throughout history have addressed in probably every aspect of human communication and expression, and you think op is on drugs?

DP here.

The reference to substances was clearly not literal.

No credible evidence exists of someone "summoning a demon". If any did, this discussion would not exist. I am guessing that was PP's point minus the hyperbole.

Atheist here. I’d be happy to summon a demon for you.
