Congrats to the happy parents.

Waiting to see if Princess B will be criticized for her choice of hospital, not immediately showing off the baby, and waiting more than a day to announce the birth — like Meghan was. Good on Beatrice for handling this in a way that supported her child’s well-being and her own.

They already gave her more grace than Meghan. Announcement two days later and if she follows her sister's baby announcement this spring - a full picture not released for weeks.

Either way - happy for her. And I love that she gave a shoutout to her stepson in the birth announcement. I never liked Beatrice but if she is welcoming to Wolfie and a good mother to him as well as her daughter, that's all I could ask.

Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf.

It’s a very popular English name. The lesser royals don’t have to choose from the same five names the primary British ones do. They usually pick more trendy names. See, Zara.
