Any recommendations for colleges in the south?

Large or small? I’ve heard great things about Rollins

OP you must be new to this board. You will get flamed for (1) expressing interest in schools located in the south, (2) not providing any insight into whether your DC wants small, medium, large campus, what they want to study, how conservative (or not) you all are etc., and (3) your DC’s stats. Provide info for (2) and (3) and, notwithstanding item (1), we might be able to help

You will also get flamed for looking at school's in FL. The politics there are shameful.

She’s a sophomore with a 3.8 unweighted gpa and a 34 act. She still has a lot of high school ahead of her and she’s very unsure about what type of school she’d like best.

God, no!

I’m kidding. DS is at Tulane and loves it. DH went to medical school at Duke.

With those stats, it would be challenging to get into Duke or Vanderbilt, even with ED. If you consider Georgetown in the South, that might work with ED. Same for Emory.

Centre College is small but highly recommended.

If she is a strong student who could see herself at a SLAC, visit Davidson.

She’s only a sophomore! We have no idea what her stats will look like, other than an already high ACT. I wouldn’t rule any place out yet, but recognize they are still reaches for everyone.
