| Is there a way to see ECNL results from last year? We are new to ECNL this year and are curious about the strength of some of these Carolina teams. When I go to the website I don't see any previous year results. |
Not sure it's going to serve as much of a barometer for you. The Virginia teams didn't travel to Carolina so there was no crossover play. Also, Maryland teams are now in the league. Show up and play. Measuring stick should be your own improvement. |
I have a daughter so not playing MD teams. I know the Carolinas only played each other but I remember there were some teams that were much stronger than others. This past weekend we were crushed by one team and then in turn crushed the other one. |
| Go to Youth soccer rankings. It will give you the history. But again, each year is something different. New players etc. |
| Anyone know which of the 2 Charlotte ECNL clubs are better? Curious at the 2009/2008 age in particular |
Charlotte SA is the better one. |
| Telling your kids that a team is weak / strong, etc. is exactly the wrong approach to take. Let the coach develop the strategies and worry about areas of strength and weakness of an opponent. |
|
Charlotte SA and NC Courage should be the hardest followed by CESA and Charlotte Independence.
Age group specific but those are the four overall top clubs south of VA in MA. |
Loudoun does NOT want ECNL scores from years past to be highlighted again. Wouldn’t help their cause with declining numbers. Go figure why. |
And FCV won’t want you to see their GAL scores next year. |
Huh? We’re in Virginia and we’re going to NC |
Sorry PP I misread your post “don’t vs didn’t” |
| Results from last year https://public.totalglobalsports.com/public/event/2040/schedules-standings |
And, if you really want to know, last year's rosters are also available through that link. There are endless discussions on this forum about players moving clubs. With a little work it's easy to check |
And why will that accomplish? Y’all need a better hobby. People can do as they please. It’s pay to play. Best product wins out. |
