| A casual observation of 2022 commits and their chosen programs leads one to conclude that one club is noticeably lacking. Richmond leads the way and includes an impressive list of commits to Power 5 programs. VDA, FCV, Bethesda and MUFC all have a half dozen or more commits. Even Arlington has a handful. |
What one club is that? |

Post how much athletic money they got. That’s the one factor everyone wants to be hush about. |
How many does loudoun have? It seems like they’re busier trying to keep numbers afloat with their super cool “staff spotlights” lol |
Loudoun has never been a source of significant DI commits. |
probably not much. Athletics (other than a handful of sports) give you a huge admission boost, not a full ride |

Always interesting to see who goes off and actually plays in college whether they get a lot of money or not. 21's have many playing and many not seeing the field as freshmen. |
The club you are so worried about has one of the best teams in this age group and one of the best track records of college placement. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it if I were you. |
Interesting to see where players end up and if they have a successful journey through college. How much money is silly. How do you know what they were trying to do...soccer fit?, Money fit?, Academic fit? Location fit? Try to find somewhere where everything balances out? |
Obviously the ability has to be there, but in a tough year like this, college placement has alot to do with promotion. Contrary to popular opinion, McLean has been largely asleep at the switch relative to recruiting support the last couple of years. The numbers don't lie even though they are incomplete, at best. |
According to soccerwire, the commits reported are: FCV -12, Richmond -8, Arlington -6, BRYC -5, Bethesda -4, MUFC -3, VDA -3, McLean -2, Metro -2, Loudoun -1. FCV leads the way. |
VDA 2022’s have over over 10 D1 commits Loudoun 2022 just announced 4-5 D1 commits last month |
| Soccerwire? That is self reported I think. That sight is missing 10 or more commitments from our 2022s. Don't rely on soccerwire. |
