| I stocked up in anticipation of not leaving the house between Friday-Tuesday. We live in a place that doesn’t even treat the roads, so yeah. |
|
This morning Capital weather gang gave the following percentages:
1 inch: 85% 4 inches: 75% 6 inches: 65% 8 inches: 50% 12 inches: 35% Looks like most likely scenario will be between 4-8 inches. Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. People really like to work themselves up. |
| I have four bags of marshmallows do you think that’s enough |
How many boxes of Rice Krispies do you have? |
| Everybody check your iPhone; it will be 20 to twenty-five inches of snow! |
Yep. My street might see a plow Wednesday, but then again maybe not. Sometimes we don't get one ever. On Monday the neighbors and I might dig a car path out to the main road if being outside isn't too miserable. |
| Does Giant supermarket carry snow shovels? |
Is this your first year living somewhere with snow? I’ll never understand snow shovels selling out every year. Do people not save their shovels from year to year? |
Are you joking? Buy water and more food. This is why you need to have at least 3 days of supplies. I assume you are joking. |
Don't they go bad? I throw mine out every year. |
You might recall that everyone died in Snowmageddon. We were replaced by DISA clones a few days later to keep the public from panicking. Of course, not everyone has figured out they are a clone, yet. |
Yes they do. They're fairly cheap quality. You might not have time before this storm but if you live here, buy a decently sturdy shovel with a metal edge, if not a metal scoop. |
They throw them out!!! |
Thank you for your sanity. |
I can live off a box of saltines for 3-4 days. |
