FCPS needs to address the issues in the lower-performing middle schools before trying to persuade a handful of students to join the bottom tier at TJ.

There is nothing in your link that talks about yield rates, how the waitlist works or how many kids went back to their base school.

Everyone is interested in yield rates, how the waitlist is being manipulated, etc., but it appears to be closely guarded information. FCPS has also cut down the basic information that was being disclosed for decades in the initial admissions news release. Ever since the admissions change in 2020, one notable omission is the breakdown of applicant acceptance rate by race. Why?
