Former Hopkins nurse here. Hopkins fertility has a history of problems.. they’re attending turnover, quality of fellows, problems within their REI lab, etc. They are trying to clean it up and refreshed their office space, but these problems are years in the making and will take years to fix. COVID didn’t help either. |
How long ago did you work at Hopkins fertility? Has it changed much in recent years? |
In the Facebook groups, it sounds like ppl come to Johns Hopkins if they don’t have success at Shady Grove. People seem to love the REs… not so much here! |
Tried Hopkins RE twice and failed. Third time at Shady Grove worked for me! Agree on the lack of supervision of residents at Hopkins. |
I know 5 who started at JH RE and had failed outcomes. 3 then went to SG and had a birth, 1 went to SG and it failed again, 1 used a donor egg and had a birth at GW when it was open. |
Wow. That's tragic. |
After third try, I got pregnant at JH. |
and after three tries, JH failed to get me pregnant. |
You can’t have kids. Duh! |
They didn’t fail to get you pregnant. You obviously went to them because you can’t get pregnant, right? There is no guarantee. |
pp here. I then went sg and got pregnant stage 41. |
darn autocorrect. I meant to type: pp here. I then went SG fertility and got pregnant at age 41 |
Shady Grove worked for me! |
any positive experiences w/ Hopkins? seems like a lot of ppl had negative experiences. |
