No. She’s a great actress and has a “normal” kind of look-not ugly but not gorgeous either.

She’s an amazing actress. Not being strikingly pretty means she can inhabit a role much easier visually for the viewer.

Different things appeal to different people. If you can understand that, you can understand your coworkers. She's not your cup of tea, that's all.

She’s not conventionally pretty but I think she’s striking and wonderful to watch. She also a remarkable actress.

Yes, but I’m capable of finding white women pretty and they have said that actresses of color are pretty. I don’t think race is the issue.
