But are afraid to act on it.
I found this article pretty interesting, there are a lot more revelations in there also. As a bisexual woman who is fairly skinny, I've always preferred "curvy" women in all iterations so this doesn't surprise me in the least. But... I guess I'm biased in that way

| Oh God, the male trolls are NOT gonna like this post. |
| I think this is quite true, especially for US-born white men. |
| I think for sex, this is probably true. To look at, maybe not. |

Relevant to a previous post with a lot of comments about how a man watching rape porn was a monster:
"Porn featuring violence against women is also extremely popular among women. It is far more popular among women than men. I hate saying that because misogynists seem to love this fact. Fantasy life isn't always politically correct. The rate at which women watch violent porn is roughly the same in every part of the world. It isn’t correlated with how women are treated." |
| Bingo. Thick girls are more popular than ever now. Curvy girls are sexy as hell. Ask any black dude. |

Really interesting. (this is from the article)
Seth Stephens-Davidowitz If you define being in the closet as picking partners based on what society wants rather than what you want, many people are in the closet. For example, I am certain a large number of men are more attracted to overweight women than skinny women but try to date skinny women to impress their friends and family members. Porn featuring overweight women is surprisingly common among men. But the data from dating sites tells us that just about all men try to date skinny women. Many people don’t try to date the people they’re most attracted to. They try to date the people they think would impress their friends. Sean Illing That says something truly awful about our cultural pathologies. People should be free to like whatever they want, but the pressures to conform are overwhelming — and ultimately unhealthy. Seth Stephens-Davidowitz It’s also inefficient. There are a lot of single men and single overweight women who would be sexually compatible. But they don’t date, while the man tries and fails to date a skinny woman even though he’s less attracted to her. And then there are women who practically starve themselves to remain skinny so their husbands won’t leave, even though their husbands would be more attracted to them if they weighed more. The desire to impress people causes all kinds of inefficiency. |
| I spend a lot of time with guys. So much so that they tend to forget I'm not one of them. I hear them talk about women all day long. I have never heard any of them refer to an overweight woman as attractive. Sorry. |
The point is they don't admit it. |

Who gives a shit what Google says. No stupid search engine knows every friggin man on the planet's personal preferences well enough to say with absolute certainty, "All men like xx!"
Bullshit |
| US born white male with a preference for lean athletic women. I must be an odd ball |
| Not this guy. Hate fat women. |
|
Hey OP, the article actually says that the guy who did the study is "certain a large number of men are more attracted to overweight women than skinny women."
That's not the same thing as "men prefer overweight women." But nice try. |

Being in bed with a bag of bones in not sexy, men like soft women, with fat in the right places. It's biological.
Also, thin women look older and that is less sexually attractive to men on a biological level. |
+1 Give me some thick thighs and rounded hips any day |
