Shark Tank fans -- recent news on Robert Herjavec's divorce

I think of all the Sharks, I enjoyed hearing input from Robert Herjavec; he is always very balanced, and I respect/admire his family background. Does it disappoint anyone else to hear that he's getting a divorce? I know that doesn't mean he's suddenly a bad guy or anything, and sure it's none of any one else's business. Guess it is just a letdown, since he seems like a nice guy, with an admirable family life (from how he'd talk about his family, kids at times, during certain segments).

I am sad like you, OP. He's spoken highly of his family in shows. It's not my business; I don't like in his house/life; I don't know him from Adam. But he appears quite balanced on Shark Tank, says kind things to the entrepreneurs (unlike O'Leary), and seems like a genuine person.

As soon as I heard he was on Dancing with the Stars, I feared that fame was going to his head.

Hi everyone, OP here. I appreciate that others can relate, because I do think he's a sincere guy, etc., like I wrote. I hope it doesn't go in that (usually) predictable direction of him getting a younger girlfriend, just because of those other thoughts about him. Everyone used to think Bill Cosby was a nice guy. They were wrong. Looks can be deceiving.

And if you've ever observed the divorces of friends or family, it's often the guys who seemed so nice who were secretly asshats.

OP here. It is an interesting mix of responses here. I am still going to give him the benefit of the doubt on things. But we shall see what may come. Not a fan of his going onto the Dancing show, so, that probably isn't a great sign.

I'm a Shark Tank fan, and hadn't read about Robert's divorce. I like him; he's not nearly as arrogant as some of the other Sharks, and he's easy on the eyes, too. I hope that he and his wife can find a way to remain amicable for the sake of their children. Like the PP's, I'd be disappointed to see him with a much younger woman, although that's probably what will happen.
