What age for lip/eyebrow wax for DD

True story--when I read the PP's question about how to respond to a pre-teen asking to go Brazilian, I did a double-take. This weekend, my neighbor said her kid asked her the same thing. AT ELEVEN. I guess this is just around the corner for me. What are you all doing about this???

That said, I wouldn't wax until midway through the teenage years. Give their skin a chance to mature more. Eyebrows and face are easy -- threading -- bikini line is a little dicier. I don't know what's best. Maybe a depilatory?

I started shaving everything when I was 16 or so? I was a swimmer and lifeguard in the good old speedo days of the 90s. I didn't have sex or even get remotely nude in front of anyone until college. All the girls on my team did, many did landing strips I suppose too but barely, and I was no good at keeping straight lines with a razor so I took everything. Then it was habit so I still do it decades later.

I wouldn't wax too young though, remember your 1st bikini wax? yeeeeouch. But teach her to shave and tell her its up to her what to take off.

This can be tricky. One one side you don't want to say no as she may take a razor and not knowing correctly and cut herself and on the other its her body and should be up to her.

Maybe ask her why, is it because she sees her mother shave and thinks that it is an adult thing to do and she should do it also? or after 10\11 years she may not be used to suddenly having pubes.

For me, I started getting pubic hair at 10 and until then I dont remember paying any attention to down there in fact it was my mom that pointed it out to me, I was wearing white panties and she wondered why there was a dark patch at the front.
