Cultural Appropriation With This Dress

No, because no culture will claim that hideousness. Proceed.

I don’t believe that OP has “fallen in love” with that dress. No way! 😂😂

How would anybody know you weren’t Brazilian? And why would anybody care?

I think it's just fast fashion using the word "Brazil."

OP here. Yeah, there's certainly nothing sacred about it -- it's not like, I don't know, wearing a yinyang without knowing what it is or something. But saris and dashiki aren't sacred either, and it could be considered culturally insensitive to just wear one because you like the way it looks. I guess this is more like how in another post people were attacking people's kids for wearing college sweatshirts that are for colleges that they most certainly won't get into.

OMG. Wear whatever you want. This is bizarre over-thinking.

Real brasileros (aka Brazilians) would spell it “Brasil” so you have nothing to worry about.

I just got back from Brazil. Farm is a popular brand in Rio and I love the clothes, too. Since you enjoy the vibe, you should wear it, definitely. https://www.farmrio.com/pages/about
