I've been married for 30 years. You grow apart. I love my husband, but if I had enough money to separate, I probably would. I'd like to live on my own, away from him, at least part of the time.

My aunt was near 80 when she divorced. Decades of infidelity and abuse. The judge tried to make it out like they should just live apart since they were both so old. My aunt spoke up about wanting to truly be free. She got her divorce.

I work in another city from where my wife lives. Long story, but she wants a completely different life than what I want. And it will never be resolved.
