If he was a real man he would have kept that finance job and let her make money from the blog on the side. But he's an attention whore and anyone familiar with them could tell. He was desperate to be more of a "star" of the blog and so he quit his (lucrative) job for some blog attention. It's sad. Now it's backfired

There are a lot of bloggers where I wonder what their longer term plan is. Some live very fancy lifestyles without FT jobs with benefits. I get they are polling in $$$$$$$$ but do they really have enough in investments to find their lifestyle until they die?

Take Meghan Stokes as an example. They are living a $750k lifestyle. Their house is millions and their decorator was very high end. Do they really have 20 Million in savings for when the blog / IG cash cow is over? There’s no way these women continue to have successful IG and blogs until they are in their 60s. They have a good 5 years left max.

I followed the Taza family off and on since their pre-kid DC days and would love to know what they’re up to now (admittedly, she became a hate-read for me around the time Josh quit his finance job to run the blog, though I do hope they’re all happy and healthy). So weird how they just disappeared.

The tragic news about Dooce/Heather Armstrong got me thinking about other big bloggers of that era and wondering what they’re up to. I knew Taza did the slow fade after her fleeing NY during Covid debacle, but it looks like her blog and IG are completely gone now. Hope all is well.

She wiped everything clean with no notice and I have mixed feelings on that. On the one hand, I hope they're doing well and I'm glad her kids finally get some privacy, no issue with her deciding to be less online, but I also think it would have been nice to give a brief message to her followers thanking them for their support over the past 10+ years instead of just ghosting.
