Arlington-area apartments that allow three dogs?

No landlord is going to take an offer with three pets unless the place is drastically overpriced and said renters are willing to pay a huge premium.

And most rental contracts have clauses with massive back fees for people caught with unregistered pets, so wouldn’t advise taking that risk as some have suggested.

Seniors with dogs in rentals are weirdos.

I used to live near a town with a massive amount of rental apartments. The town had rent control so many buildings older and full of seniors.

The shelter in town in particular on 1st of month would get a lot of stray dogs they pick up. These old widows and widowers would die, go into nursing home, move back with kids, go to hospital, get evicted you name it and leave the dogs.
The super would just open the door to apartment and let dogs loose. It was a no-kill shelter in town and they get picked up.

None of their kids wanted dog most of time or was out of state or had no family. Sometimes dogs were hungery or dehdratyed they would drive over and tie them up at post by shelter wtih food and water so when shelter opened they be there.

Shelter had a whole intake form and wanted a donation to voluntarily drop off dog and super was not doing that. Was really sad actually. Police would always be on look out for dogs by those buildings. Mainly older smaller dogs.

Who on earth wants to adopt a yappy dog because their parents are bad at life planning?

There is one by 1917 Quincy st, Arlington Va

Ad says that it accepts dogs on a case-by-case basis. I doubt that three yappy dogs would be such a case.

Small dogs are okay in single family house.

I rent out a few single family houses and am one of the few landlords who would consider - and have rented to - tenants with two dogs. Three dogs is right out.

Don't children make more damage than small dogs to a rental house ?

Get all three certified as ESAs for protection under the Fair Housing Act.

Then see how many landlords actually select your rental application.

Yes children,
Yours might be okay, but some kids put toys in the toilet , kitchen trash disposal
and I have more luck with pet owners renting my rental house.

Do children scratch the floors and walls and pee directly on hardwood floors?

My neighbors didn't even know we had a kid til they saw him. He was on screens and otherwise quiet. My neighbor's dog is not on screen. It is barking when left alone too long. Also, his collar is so loud already as it walks it in corridor waking everyone up.

You're an a$$hole.

Also, "emotional support animals" are not protected by ADA.

The house on our block owned by a realtor rents perpetually despite being in crap condition because they allow many animals. Just have to keep looking. Currently several barking dogs and multiple cats.

It went for $3200/month. Pay the extra. Dogs will eventually die or needs change. Look in South Arlington too.

They would be able to qualify for income-based senior rentals, but the problem is that they have three small yappy dogs and the senior complexes around here limit units to one dog (or none). So we're looking at non-senior rental communities. I can't find information on websites about the number of dogs that they allow, but every place that I've called so far allows one or two at most. Anyone know of any affordable options around here that would allow three dogs (and be tolerant if they bark a lot)?

3 dogs on a limited income?

This is, unfortunately, not that uncommon among the limited income set. Dogs become a substitute for therapy, despite the fact that they have difficulty affording to care for their dogs (and yes, usually its multiple dogs).

Your parents need to pare down to one dog.

All the grossly obese women on My 600 Pound Life has at least one small yappy dog -- and boyfriends.
