Boden is horrible. Change my mind!

I used to love it but now everything is cheap. And boxy.

Where are the cool kids shopping? I've been unhappy with jcrew, Ann Taylor, and Boden this season.

It used to be good. I have several dresses, pants, shirts and bathing suits from years ago. Fairly tame patterns and it was high quality back then.

It's gone to crap recently. Their prints are hideous and the sizing is all over the place. I have bought a few things in the past year but haven't kept any of them.

So I have a few Boden dresses -- all in plain neutrals, no prints -- that I like for the price. I'm 5'3" and a size 2 or 4. Their petite dresses are cut well and fit me well without tailoring; they're not just, like... shorter.

100% agree. They do a great job on their petite sizing. I can consistently find things that fit 5'2" size 4 me.

I agree. Don’t understand the hype. I got a few blouses and sweaters from there and they have held up horribly.

+1 I am neither of those things and like a bunch of things from there. A lot of cotton which I love. Get plenty of compliments as well.

There are plenty of stores and brands I dislike but you seem very unpleasant. No one needs to "change your mind" - the retailer is doing just fine without you.

I used to love their solid dresses in tall sizes. The cuts worked well for my broad shoulders.

I’m 47, sometimes chubby and sometimes thin, but not curvy nor fashionable. I do wear a lot of Boden. I like the Hampshire pants, tshirts, button downs, jackets, simple dresses for summer, some of the cardigans, and Bretons. I only buy stuff with v good reviews.

I used to buy my kids’ clothing from them before Nordstrom carried them. So cute!

I could have written this, minus the size/petite part (I'm 43 and overweight). I have a few basic dresses (some of which are same style in multiple colors) and they do the trick for my couple of days in the office a week.

I have a 12 year old who hit puberty like a Mack truck. The Boden stuff is a godsend for being neither stuffy like most adult clothing nor trashy, as a lot of juniors lines can be on an hourglass figure.

I'm flat chested and do have to watch the v-necks. But they have a "tall size" that works really well for long-waisted people. I can't wear most dresses by most manufacturers because they are way too short-waisted for me.

The tops have always been too short and boxy for me. I was convinced that Brits are built differently!

I do have two wool skirts purchased years ago that I love. They're thick, lined, and have a zipper detail I like.

One of my favorite tote bags is from there like 10 years ago. They have comfortable shoes. I want to like some of their things but I am not the right body type- I am too tall, boobs too big and I don't have a waist.

I do think their sensibility is a bit different in their prints/colors and so it’s worth it in some cases. It’s a slightly different look.

It’s also true that their quality isn’t what it used to be, especially with dresses.

As with all vendors, pick and choose what you like.
