However, my daughter applied to Walls so I’m curious about the homework load. Btw, your response is a great reminder that DCPS (and many of its families) are all too willing to tolerate poor communication, meh instruction, and abysmal customer service.


We had a lot of questions answered when we attended the interview and chatted with the student host, including like others say here: it depends on the kid.

We asked our student hosts (there were two) before being led upstairs for the Walls interview. I asked here because the students gave two very different answers.


As a general premise I am against the Walls interview process. I will make an exception in this circumstance because it gives them an opportunity to meet parents like you...and make sure they don't get in.


What a nasty, mean spirited thing to say. Watch my kid get in because…karma. Lol!
