Travis and Taylor

Travis Kelce could actually be a WWE personality. Or maybe a MMA commentator. I think those venues would be a better fit for his personality and charisma.

He's kind of goofy and just doesn't have the natural charisma of Jason, who could clearly have a career in broadcasting if he decides to retire. Sure he seems fun and he's obviously a great athlete, it kind of doesn't go any deeper than that. I don't know how long these two will last. Before I started listening to the podcast, I hadn't really heard him talk much and now that I have, yikes, it has kind of ruined it for me. I don't know how long these two will last. She seems a little too cerebral for him but maybe it works.

I don't think they'll go the distance, but it seems to work for her for right now. She's recently out of a multi-year relationship with a dude who wanted nothing to do with her public persona; Travis is the opposite. I think she's just having fun (and good for her). I'm guessing Travis is similar - he knows she's out of his league long-term, but it's fun for now, and I'm sure it doesn't hurt that she boosts his profile for the Rock-esque post NFL second act he seems to be shooting for.

He does seem like he's a lot of fun if you can get past all the "yeah, baby" talk but I think once football season is over and she's on her tour, it will fizzle. Unless he's got his public person and behind closed doors he's a much deeper guy but I can't see this in the long run. I also don't get the Brittany Mahomes relationship. They went from never knowing each other to suddenly BFFs? I don't know...would love to know what Kylie really thinks

Isn't that kind of a step down from the NFL?

I can see that (which is, of course way, off-brand for Taylor Swift).

Kylie seems to want a normal, quiet life with no part of the Taylor Swift media circus and scrutiny, but anytime she's said something to that effect (like it's not her cup of tea or she'd rather be in the stands than in the boxes), people freak out and misinterpret and try to make it a "thing" that she hates Taylor or is jealous of her or whatever.

You know they had a fun night at home after the game. Lol.

I kind of have the same impression, but I am rooting for them so hard. But a few comments - when he's in his element, and talking football strategy, he's really smart. He's got a great way of explaining things, and it's not easy remembering all of the codes and such for each play. I think it's just hard for him when he's reading off the scripts because he has dyslexia from what I understand, and that makes him sound less intelligent. But he's not. He just sounds it. All the blustering is done by so many football players, but somehow Jason never went that direction. So that's interesting. What I think she sees in him is a super nice guy, knows how to have fun, with great friends, intensely loyal and from a tight-knit, kind family. And he treats her well. I mean, come on. Heart hands? That was awesome! She feels seen and appreciated. Who doesn't want that?

It’s probably just physical.

Too much pressure to make your partner be all things to you. She can always go deep in therapy or with friends or in the studio. He is meeting what she needs in her MAN.

Nothing wrong with that.

They both understand intense pressure, performing in game day, and the stamina of their professions.

And they both have money, nice families, from the Midwest and deal with the media.

Plus he’s super tall and strong and will knock you out of their way if your damn camera gets too close.

They also are both used to traveling by plane weekly.

Lots of complain about. Lots to plan for the next phase of their lives!!

They are both on top of the world at the moment. What happens once one is not? It's especially hard being a former sports star, so add in an insanely famous spouse and it's not a recipe for success. I can see a lot of resentment building up.

Looks like Jason was more the distraction.

But I don't care. They all had a blast.

Taylor attends a game, waves at fans, sings along to the stadiuim music and is touted a distraction.

Jason Kelce rips off a shirt, jumps out of the box, chugs beer, holds up random kids and is celebrated.

Huge double standard.

FWIW I love both of them.

Agreed.
