Men in your 50s, do you find women in their 50s attractive?

52yo man here. Yes, though I confess I am more attracted to the 35-45yo set. So shoot me.

Same, I prefer men 30-45: I am a woman in her 50s. Most people in their 50s look pretty bad... that’s the age where any bad habits like being out of shape, tanning, smoking, etc really shows in one’s looks.

61 yo man. Sorry but 40s is the age I look to date. Very few woman I've seen hold up well into their 50s and past menopause.

Not only yes, my 58 year old wife is both in shape and easily looks 40. Almost a young Katie Couric.

54 yo man here. Answer is yes. But I also found some 50 yo women attractive when I was in my late 20's. I dated one for 5 years (28-33), until I came to the realization that I wanted to be a father.

I’m a 42yr old woman. The idea of dating someone 20 yrs older than me seems odd. I think of the long term. When I’m 62, you’d be 81. Do you find many 40 yr old women to date?

The upside is that they usually have been through the ringer in a divorce and child rearing and are much less uptight and willing to experiment/engage in things younger girls aren’t. Some are remarkably attractive as they go through the post divorce recovery in order to “show their ex husbands.”

The good ones will have a decent divorce package so will often treat for dates etc without making you feel guilty. The women in 50s I’ve dated haven’t really wanted a true partnership having been married and btdt.

Every time I have a relationship with one of them though I end up feeling a little empty and looking for more out of a relationship. So I tend to go for the 36 or so to 40 range. Women that age still seem to believe in long term partnership.

50yo divorced male.

Not a chance. There are tons of desperate women in their late 30's- early 40's. Women in their 50's would be reasonable for guys in their 60's with little game/money/looks.

I've seen many celebrities in person (media job) and believe me, they don't look anything close to their public photos.

Right? I work in the media and my professional photos and even what you see on TV is NOT how I look, not at all.

Ladies, just stop. You have impossible expectations.

30 is the magic number for women. It's down hill (very slowly) from there. Once they hit 40 it's like a runaway truck flying down the mountain.

I had a client who was a news anchor and it was amazing how different she looked on tv vs in real life. On tv she was easily a 9, in person she was maybe a 6.

I met Wendy Rieger at a humane society event. She looked older than my mom.

Don't find Katie or Gillian exceptionally attractive. Well-maintained but no more.

Do you really not know anyone who has married/remarried at an older age? My mother and grandmother remarried at 50+ (they outlived all their DHs). Most of their friends who divorced or were widowed remarried. Of course, there's always more women than men but it's far less common to have a significant age gap between spouses - unless, of course, you're looking for a wealthy man who may see a much younger woman as a status symbol.
