| I think of the stadium. As a teacher, I’ve had two kids named Shea over the last 15 years, both Hispanic males. |
| Kind of white trash. Sorry |
| I love it and would have used it if I had another! I prefer Shay. |

Really? It’s giving me old money vibes. |
I know what you’re doing…. Trying to sway the OP against this awesome name. Op, Shea is great. Sounds regal to me. |

My neighborhood is pretty Irish Catholic, and I know a few Sheas. It's a rare name that I like for a girl or a boy. Slightly prefer it for girls.

All the Sheas I know are white Irish Catholic

| It's typically an Irish last name and it means admirable, fortunate or hawk-like. There is also a Hebrew meaning which is gift. I like it and it's unique but becoming more popular. |
I know someone Jewish with the name. Probably mostly Jewish and Catholic |
DP. It definitely strikes me as Irish. Makes me think of Shea McGee from that Netflix home makeover show. Which isn’t a bad association. I don’t understand the white trash comments. |
| I like it. |
| Terrible name. Maybe okay for a middle name. I had a hot camp counselor named Shea. We all loved him. Just a bad name. |
+1 I think many ppl would pronounce it as she-a. |
Personally I am not a fan. My dh teaches a shae and isnt a very nice kid. Just feels incomplete. |
| I really like it. I agree with PP who said it sounds regal. |
