Twin girls! Which names do you like?

Imaan
Aaliyah
Yara
Leila

I love both Aaliyah and Leila, but I agree they're too close. I like the other two names a lot too.

I think I'd do Leila and Imaan. I think I'd pick Imaan to avoid the matching a endings, but really Leila and Yara is also a nice combo. You have lovely taste!

Op here. Leila and Imaan are actually my favorites.

DH likes Aaliyah and Imaan or Aaliyah and Yara

I would do Leila and Iman, because I am a twin mom myself and IME you want different sounds (so they feel like their own person) but it’s handy to have similar lengths so when you want to get something with their name on it, there is room for both names in the same size font, vs Leila always being bigger and Aaliyah automatically having her name shrunken down.

Agreed!

Twin girl here, and agree about different sounding names! Also be open to not dressing them the same .

Congrats, and best wishes! Twin girls will keep you young

Yara and Leila. They’re different enough yet complimentary; they’re easy to spell and pronounce for many Americans (I’m assuming they’ll be raised in the US); they’re feminine.

Congratulations from another mom of twin girls!

Then go with Leila and Imaan, since your DH also likes Imaan.

I think they’re all beautiful names, OP! Agree with others that Leila and Aaliyah are too similar for twins.

Yara and Aaliyah.

From your choices, I’d pick Leila and Yara. If you’re still looking for other options, I quite like Ayaan, which shares some sounds with Aaliyah and Imaan. Congrats!

Ayaan is a great name, it's also primarily a male name

Didn't even think of that but the double A for twins is cool

Imaan and Yara

Unique, complimentary and easy to pronounce (not that the other two options aren’t)
