Thats the company owned by her husband, Thomas Berolzheimer's parents. They are very rich. She is quite mysterious about her own background but I sense she grew up MC or UMC and is now UC.

I have a friend who is her neighbor and though they are really comfortable they are not "super wealthy". She is an overrated really boring outdated blogger trying to contestant reinvent herself to no avail. She and her friend (gadabout on Instagram…they seem to have adopted the same look and hairstyle) started a curated collection of expensive things they like. But I’m just not at in the mindset or lifestyle to spend $300 on sweaters regularly.. I actually liked the Gal Meets Glam line but I think there were problems with manufacturing or probably Julia B didn’t want her line to be Nordstrom Rack items. Curious to hear more about her IRL from the neighbor! Her renovated house looks amazing. Is the rest of the neighborhood not like that or are there any similar DC/VA/MD neighborhood comparisons?

I agree along with her daughter’s clothes! I am envious of her lifestyle. Her husband seems sweet, if maybe a little boring, but her clothes, vacations, home, etc all seem so perfect.

Good reminder! To add to that, I do think she’s actually a hard worker and business savvy. This post made me realize I’ve been following her blog/Instagram for nearly 10 years now! She has accomplished and grown up a lot, as have I (to a much lesser scale haha)

Sometimes I look at her feed and I get so jealous. She really does have it all. Youth, beauty, a husband who seems sweet and clearly adores and supports her, a healthy toddler with another on the way, wealth, beautiful home and clothes.

Same! I found the house tour article (https://www.southernliving.com/home/decor/gal-meets-glam-julia-engel-house-pictures), it says the house was sitting for a little while so maybe she got it at a good deal, but it’s still massive and she says it’s in a nice neighborhood. The renovations must’ve cost a lot and I think they added a pool recently too.
