Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

2025 VLC parents on here need to get a clue. This age group is now HS. HOCO is over and no one cares. Teams play to showcase. All teams not just VLC. VLC will be missing kids due to HS states and might add some guest players. Wait until fall and judge the ‘23 team which was the first VLC youth team to start together in 7th. See how their college recruitment goes that should help you evaluate the club

So you don't count Bullis as one of the big boys? They've been touted in every other forum post. You can only beat who they put you against.

Bullis lost a lot, nevertheless good win for the program

White session also has Woodberry forest St Albans some out of state public schools. Red Session may have been weaker but still had some strong teams like Salisbury and G town prep. But not Yorktown

So you don't count Bullis as one of the big boys? They've been touted in every other forum post. You can only beat who they put you against.

It will get PVI ready for another run at VEL this fall.

PVI had a great tournament win but it's PVI, not VLC. PVI is well regarded and has a great future.

don't confuse the issue. its a fact that 25s were asked in advance to play with the 26s and a few players did. some call it cheating. cheating can still happen and be less effective than desired. more offense needed? more defense? probably both

There is no "if" about it. Older kids absolutely played. The fact is that it is still cheating even if you were short a player due to injury or some other "good reason". That is not a "stretch" it is a fact. If some or all of your best players can't make the tournament, oh well, suck it up and take the L, don't bring in older kids to fill in. That is wrong, period.

If VLC hadn't brought in some 25 subs, the 2026 team would have been crushed even more massively than they were.
