Who is eating a salt bagel?!

Bagel shop ran out of other flavors and man, I was taken aback by how salty this salt bagel was.

What do you get on your salt bagel? How do you manage to power thru?

Isn't it kind of like a pretzel. You just knock off some of the salt? Add cream cheese.

Oh man, I used to eat salt bagels in high school. Haven't thought of them in 25 years. They're basically the bagel version of a soft pretzel - yum. I always ate them with plain schmear.

Op here. Maybe I’m getting old but the amount of salt on this one, I was struggling to shake it off 😆 it was covered like you would an everything bagel but with salt.

A salt bagel automatically comes with a side of heart disease

Yes, i take off all the salt and then it's the prefect amount of saltiness

I prefer everything bagels but salt is my second choice. Also - pet peeve - salt needs to be included in the “everything” but often is not.

Man I sometimes would get a salt bagel with olive tapenade. salt overload. Loved it.

Haven't had one in a decade? almost two decades? (I'm 55).

Balances out if you have a big ol schmear of cream cheese on it.

Scrambled eggs!! I literally eat one just once per year at my favorite vacation bagel spot, because #bloodpressure, but man, I love them so much.

Ha ha ha! I'm a runner. I treat myself to one after a half marathon. They're intense, but worth it every so often.

My NJ dad adores them, though probably also shouldn't eat them.

Cream cheese and slices of tomato, usually in July or August so they are in season. Delicious!

+2 I could have written this myself. I usually get lightly toasted with butter.
